God Honors Those Who Faithfully Serve Him

God day of reckoning caught Israelites unaware. Since God don remove Hin protection from dem due to dea sins, foreign invaders dey able to storm dea cities and loot dea treasure. Di Babylonians (invaders) rip di nation of Israel and Judah apart, and dem transport dea citizen to Babylon as captive. Unfortunately fo Israelites weh rebel against dea kreator, dem go live and die in Babylon - unless di Kreator wrath come down! The bible report Jerusalem invasion, 

“Now fo di fifth month, fo di tenth day of di month (weh bi di nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar Babylon king), Nebuzaradan, weh bi di captain of guard, weh serve di king of Babylon, come to Jerusalem. He burn di Lord house and di king house; all di house fo Jerusalem, mean sey, all di house of great pipu, he burn with fire. And all di army of di Chaldeans weh we dey with di captain of  guard break down all di wall of Jerusalem all around” (Jeremiah 52:12-14). 

LESSON:

God pikin dem dey call to honor God; we suppose dey respect God, and try not to take Am fo granted. Di fact sey we get son/daughter-to-father relationship with God no mean sey make we take Am fo granted. Indeed Hin bi our Papa, but He bi  heavenly Papa also, and we no fit kompare Am to any earthly papa. He bi  supreme God weh get affirmed standard. He dey nice towards Hin pikin dem, but brutal towards Hin enemies. More importantly, God hates sin, and He no dey tolerant pipu weh attempt to take Am fo granted. Meanwhile, God appreciates pipu with kontrite spirit. He go honor those weh faithfully serve Am and karefully follow Hin instructions. Hence, we believers suppose walk in integrity before God, so that Hin fit multiply Hin goodness fo our lives. 

PRAYER:

Dear God, i beg instill your fear fo my heart so that i no go sin against you. Help me make i no take your grace of salvation fo granted so that you no go punished me; give me pawa through your Holy Spirit to walk carefully and faithfully fo your presence. Anoint me to serve you with beauty of my heart, and male my service dey konsider honorable before you so that I fit be qualify to receive your blessings.
