Eye Service
God scold Israelites fo dea hypocritical behavior. Israelites pretend to love God, but dem mean di opposite. God expose dem to Ezekiel and He say.,
“Den He talk to me, “You don see dis, man pikin? Turn again, you go see greater abominations weh pass these.” So He bring me to di inner court of di Lord house; and fo dea, to di door of di temple of di Lord, between di porch and di altar, about twenty-five men weh bi seh dea back toward di temple of di Lord and dea face toward di east, and dem dey worship sun toward di east. And He talk to me, “You don see this, O man pikin? Shey nah trivial thing to house of Judah to kommit dis abomination weh dem kommit here? Because dem don fill di land with violence; then they have returned to provoke me to anger. Indeed dem put di branch fo dea nose. Fo dis reason me self go act in fury. My eye no go spare and I no go get pity; Even though dem kry to my ears with loud voice, I no go hear dem” (Ezekiel 8:15-18).
LESSON:
God dey too big fo pesin to dey play Am, and pesin no fit fool Am. He understand pipu well, and He know those weh serve Am with one mind. Hin also know those weh dey give lip-service and eye- service. And as e easy fo anyone to claim sey hin or she be kristian and religious, good kristian must serve hin God with all sincerity. Good kristian must not portray God appearance and still keep secret sin. True kristian no go dey manipulative; hin must neither be obsessive nor possessive of evil. True kristian must dey sincere and straightforward in hin or her approach to all things. Anyone weh aim to be true pikin of God must dey faithful to serve God, and kare fo other pipu also. Jehovah, weh know pipu weh serve am faithfully go surely bless dem fo this life, and fo heaven also!
PRAYER:
Dear God, i beg help me to be straightforward kristian weh dey things right. Help me make i live straightforward life before you! Help me to admit my mistake and take every necessary step to repentance. I beg let me serve you well on earth so that i fit qualify to receive your benefit fo this life, and fo heaven also.
