Express Gratitude Fo God
God expect us to dey appreciate him for our achievements, and not to dey boast in flesh. Di Creator no want us to boast on our human abilities and/or material wealth as if say we acquired dem by our self efforts. Our achievements are obtained by God's help, and we most be humble to glorify him name. Do Bible teach us to wisely handle our achievements as dem write am,
“Naso Lord talk say: “Let not Di wise man glory in him wisdom, Let not Di mighty man glory in him might, Nor let Di rich man glory in him riches; But let he who glories glory in this, That he understands and sabi Me, say' I be Di Lord, exercising loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says Di Lord” (Jeremiah 9:23-24).
LESSON:
Believers most understand how to glorify God with their achievements. A child of God most be able to say “I am what I am by the grace of God.” We Christians most understand say God be Di brain behind our success. He don bring us this far by him saving strength, and no be by our human efforts. Therefore, we most remain grateful to am always. Of course, we can still reference our achievements and be proud of our success, but we suppose to always add a phrase wer honor God.
PRAYER:
Dear God, I thank you for all my achievements. You be Di brain behind my success, and without you I no go be where I dey today. You done given me all I get, and without you I for no acquired nothing! Therefore, I go dey praise you throughout the days of my life. Abeg give me grace to ever be appreciative of your goodness; no let me be full of myself to arrogate your glory to my human ability. Let my testimony ever lead to the glorification of your name. For in the name of Jesus krist na him I make my request. Amen.
