We Must Draw Near To The Lord

A man or woman who fears God will enjoy his benefits; the person will receive God’s guidance and live in safety. The psalmist stated,

“Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him; And He will show them His covenant. (Psalm 25:12-14).

Lesson:

If we draw close to God, he will draw closer to us. The Almighty God always looks for an opportunity to bless his children, but unfortunately, some people have decided to keep a distance from him; therefore, they could not enjoy his benefits. Meanwhile, few people who are consistent with God continue to enjoy numerous benefits from him. However, it is advisable that all people move closer to God and establish a consistent relationship with him so that they can prosper and also put Satan to shame.

Prayer:

Dear God, I realized that people who move closer to you are enjoying a lot of benefits from you, and I want to join them now! I am determined to move closer to you than ever before. I will stop wasting my time and energy on things that do not benefit me, but I will immediately put extra effort to the relationship that exists between you and me. I will praise you more than ever before, and I will serve you well. Please give me the grace to keep to my commitments. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
