Hypocritical Behavior Has Repercussions

This present world is temporal; everything the world contains is temporal also. All the material wealth of this world are corruptible, and they will soon perish. A wise preacher in the bible stated,

“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind” (Eccl 1:14).

Lesson:

The present world that hosts humanity is meant to exist temporarily. All the material wealth that people acquire here on earth are corruptible and they will not last forever. However, God will furnish new heaven and new earth for his saints, which are meant to exist permanently (Revelation 21:1-4). The beauty and riches of God’s new paradise will abide forever. Moreover, God will disallow unrepentant sinners from entering his beautiful kingdom. He will send them to hellfire that will remain a permanent home for Satan and all his followers (Matthew 25:41). (Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and repents from his sin is considered a saint of God – and is meant to enter heaven).

Prayer:

Dear God, I realize that this present world and all it contains are vanities. They are perishable and they will vanish someday; therefore, I have decided to preserve my treasures where they will not corrupt. I am determined to give my life to Jesus Christ! Today, I (mention your name) state my faith declaration thus:

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; he died for my sins so that I can have eternal life. I confess my sins of (mention the sins you as can remember). I also confess every unknown sin. I repent from all my sins, and I give my complete life unto Jesus Christ. As from today, I will faithfully follow Jesus Christ, and I will serve him for the rest of my life. Also, since I have become a child of God, I will share my salvation experience with other people. May God help me so. Amen!
