A Fool Says There Is No God

The scripture plainly describes people who deny the existence of God as fools. If there is no God, who could have done so many beautiful things that we see today? If there is no God, who could have kept climate, weather, and season in such perfect fashions? If there is no God, who would have made human beings with such perfect design that we see today? God is real, and his supremacy will last eternally! The scripture warned people who deny God’s existence to repent. It says,

“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Every one of them has turned aside; they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, No, not one” (Psalm 53:1-3). The scripture also stated, “But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God who “will render to each one according to his deeds” (Romans 2:5-6).

Lesson:

People who believe that God exists are wise, but people who deny the existence of God are not wise. The scripture directly calls anyone who denounces God’s existence a fool! (Psalm 53:1-3). God is real and his existence is undeniable. Even though we cannot see God physically, but we can see his works. Unlike the common argument that all things exist by nature, God created all things. In fact, God created nature itself! Nature did not produce human beings in such a perfect fashion that we see. God made human beings and furnished them perfectly. Man has two ears positioned directly across the head; man has two legs to maintain his perfect stability; man has two eyes complemented with lashes to ward off insects and flies. Man has a mouth to eat food and anus to release his digested foods. Who says there is no God? That person is not wise! Who could have formed the sky in such a perfect shape and colors? Who could have made trees to mostly grow green-colored leaves that would not damage human eyes? Who could have made sunrise and sunset that never misses their schedules? Who could have made climate and weather to repeat their yearly and seasonal schedules without failing? In fact, it does not take rocket science to understand that something significant is behind the creation. A specific deity created all things, and that deity is God – and all people must hallow him!

Meanwhile, the beauty of this world is nothing to compare with the beauty of heaven that God is preparing for his saints. Therefore, anyone who wants to enjoy the better works of God should aspire to go to heaven. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he is the only one who offers direct passage to heaven. All people should believe him.

Prayer:

Dear God, I understand that it takes foolishness to argue that you do not exist. I know you are in existence and I know that you are real more than anything else! I thank you for the beautiful earth that you have created. Meanwhile, I understand that you have more beautiful works to display in heaven, and I want to witness them also. Therefore, please count me worthy to enter heaven on the last day. I believe your Son Jesus Christ, and I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior. I know that I will be accepted to your kingdom through my faith in your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
