What Does It Mean to Be Born Again?
In John 3:3–6, Jesus explained to Nicodemus that being born again is not a physical rebirth but a spiritual transformation. To enter the Kingdom of God, a person must be “born of water and of the Spirit.” This means your old life must be replaced by a life ruled by the Holy Spirit.
Being born again means allowing God to renew your heart, cleanse your spirit, and transform your lifestyle. It is a total surrender to Jesus where your desires and direction begin to reflect God’s will.
Why Must Everyone Be Born Again?
The Bible is clear: no one enters God’s Kingdom without spiritual rebirth. Human effort alone cannot please God. We must align with His Spirit.
When you become born again, you receive forgiveness, access to God’s kingdom, the Holy Spirit, divine protection, and a new life purpose.
How Do You Become Born Again?
Romans 10:9–10 gives the clear pathway to salvation:
- Confess Jesus Christ with your mouth
- Believe in your heart that He died and rose again
- Repent and surrender your life to Him
This sincere confession and belief make you born again and place you in God’s family.
