Are You Leaving the Door Open for the Enemy?
Discover how everyday choices open spiritual doors. Learn how to guard your heart and live with spiritual discernment through faith in Jesus Christ.
Are You Talking to Someone? Or Avoiding the Truth?
Every day, we are faced with decisions. Some seem small, others life-changing. But what if I told you that not making a decision is, in itself, a decision? Whether we realize it or not, our hearts are constantly opening and closing doors — and the spiritual consequences are real.
What Happened to Judas Can Happen to Anyone
Do you remember the moment Judas was about to betray Jesus? The Bible tells us that during the Last Supper, Jesus said, “One of you will betray me.” And in that moment, Scripture says that Satan entered into Judas.
Why? Because Judas was entertaining the idea of selling out Jesus for money. That entertaining was the key — it was the password that gave the devil access. Judas opened the door, and Satan walked right in.
Guarding the Door of Your Heart
We must become spiritually aware. This isn’t about superstition or magic. It’s about understanding the importance of what we allow into our hearts, minds, and souls.
-
Every movie you watch matters.
-
Every song you listen to has influence.
-
Every thought you dwell on can open a door.
If you carry the Holy Spirit inside you, it’s your responsibility to protect that presence. Not everything is meant to enter your life.
Live Life, But With Discernment
I’m not saying you shouldn't enjoy life. God wants you to live in joy and freedom. But I want to tell you today — from the altar of God — that not everything deserves your attention. Not every door should be opened.
People unknowingly invite spiritual contamination because they’re not guarding what comes in. And once a door is open, it may not be so easy to close.
Final Word: Choose Wisely
You are a gatekeeper. And every day, with every choice, you are either opening the door to God’s Spirit or giving room for darkness to enter.
Let’s choose wisely. Let’s stay spiritually alert. And above all — let’s honor Jesus Christ with our whole heart.
