Beware Of Wrong Kounsel

Rehoboam follow wrong kounsels and lost more than half of massive kingdom weh he inherit from hin papa Solomon. Rehoboam reject mature kounsels from hin elders but listen to hin fellow youths weh mislead Am.
Di bible report am: “And Rehoboam go Shechem, because all Israel don go Shechem to make am king…Den Jeroboam and all assembly of Israel come and speak to Rehoboam, say, “Your papa make our yoke heavy; now fo dis reason, light di burdensome service of your papa, and hin heavy yoke weh he put on us, and we go serve you.” So he tell dem, “Depart fo three days, then come back to me.” And si pipu depart. And he tell dem, “Which advice dem won give am? How we won answer this pipu weh don speak to me...Then di young men weh don grow up with am speak to am, say, “Nah like dis, you suppose speak to this pipu weh don speak to you, say, ‘Your father make our yoke heavy, but you make am light on us’—Nah like dis you go talk to dem: ‘My little finger go dey thick pass my papa waist! And now, whereas my papa put  heavy yoke on you, I go add to your yoke; my papa chastise you with whips, but i go chastise you with scourge!’” So Jeroboam and all di pipu come to Rehoboam di third day, as di king don direct, say…  Then the king answer di pipu roughly, and reject di advice weh di elders don give am; and he speak to dem according to di advice of di young men, say, “My papa make your yoke heavy, but i go add to your yoke; my father chastise you with whips, but i go chastise you with scourge!” … Now wen all Israel see sey di king nolisten to dem, di pipu answer di king, say: “Which share we get in David? We no get inheritance in son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Now, see to your own house, O David!” So Israel depart to dea tents. But Rehoboam reign over di children of Israel weh dwell fo di cities of Judah” (1 Kings 12:1-17).

LESSON

We children of God must dey careful to prayerfully konsider every kounsel sey we receive, so that we no go follow wrong footsteps and make wrong decisions. No kristian suppose follow any piece of advice without proper evaluation and prayers. We must understand sey nobi all kounsels come from right motives. Some kounsels come out of selfish mind, and dem mean to derail dea recipients. Moreover, no God pikin bin expected to seek advice from unbelievers since dem get high risk to give unguided counsels. Kristians suppose seek godly kounsels from dea fellow kristians! More importantly, any kristian weh need godly kounsel suppose receive am from from Holy Spirit, since Hin bi di best kounselor.

PRAYER

Dear God, i beg guide my steps not to seek kounsels from pipu weh nobi your own. Assist me to seek God pipu kounselors weh fit guide me to make right decisions. Help me to prayerfully konsider any kounsel weh i receive before i take action. Make you no make me rush to judgment so that i no go regret my action afterward.
