Trust God Completely

Judas Iscariot released himself for the devil’s use, and he betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss. It is reported,

“And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” (Luke 22:47-48).

Lesson:

If a close associate like Judas Iscariot can betray Jesus Christ who else should we trust? (Luke 22:47-48). It is obvious that our present world has a problem with "Trust." The world is full of hate and rage; acts of self-centeredness have dominated it from every side! However, the followers of Jesus Christ still have hope in this present world: We have God's love that prevails over evil! We can still look up to God and some fellow believers. Meanwhile, no believer is expected to place absolute trust in a fellow human being. Complete and absolute trust must be placed in God who remains infallible. God never fails - even when people fail us. A fellow human being may disappoint us, but God will never do that!

Prayer:

Dear God, please help me to place my absolute trust in you. Help me to love and trust people, but let my absolute trust be placed in you. Let me trust, pray, and look up to you for all my needs. I understand and believe that you will send me the necessary people to meet my needs at all times. Let my absolute trust be reserved in you at all times so that I can live successfully and happily on earth. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
