You Need No Ones’ Approval To Accept Jesus

Jesus Christ preached the hardest part of Christianity to his disciples and said,

“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26-27).

Lesson:

Salvation is personal, and it cannot be obtained by some collective efforts. Nobody should seek the approval of another fellow before he or she turns to Jesus Christ. God requires everyone on earth to personally accept Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Savior. Anyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God shall be saved, but a person who refuses to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ shall be condemned in hellfire (John 3:18).

Prayer:

I understand that salvation is personal; therefore, I confess my faith in Jesus Christ. I accept him as my personal Lord and Savior, and I am determined to serve him throughout the days of my life. I also confess my sin and I repent from them, and I ask God to enable me with the ability to remain faithful to him for the rest of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.
