You Must Allow The Holy Spirit’s Governance In You

Christians are required to be honest with their relationship with God, and they are also required to be good models for other people. The scripture emphasized

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

Lesson:

God requires all his children to maintain stable and consistent relationship with him. They must also live exemplary lifestyle for other people to emulate. However, no one can meet such important expectations without the help of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it is essential that all Christians daily ask God for in-filling of the Holy Spirit so that they can adequately satisfy his desires.

Prayer:

Dear God, please I need the help of your Holy Spirit to be a good Christian. I realized that I am weak and cannot adequately meet your expectations with my human strength; therefore, I ask you to please empower me with your divine Holy Spirit! Anoint me with grace to serve you well and be a good example for other people to follow. At the end of it all, let me receive your imperishable crown of glory in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
