You Cannot Manipulate God

God was dissatisfied with his disobedient children and asked his prophet to announce the judgment that would come on them. God said to Prophet Hosea,

“Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant and rebelled against my law. Israel will cry to me, ‘My God, we know you!’ Israel has rejected the good; the enemy will pursue him” (Hosea 8:1-3).

Lesson:

People who believed they can deceive God with their hypocritical behaviors are actually deceiving themselves, because no one can successfully manipulate God. The Creator has a set rule that will not be reversed. Everyone must comply with God’s standard of holiness to be blessed. Anyone who fails to obey God’s instructions will be judged on the last day. Therefore, each individual person must make a choice to desist from evil and serve God with holiness to receive the gift of eternal blessing in heaven.

Dear God, please help me to fear you and help me to faithfully operate before you so that I can prosper. Please qualify me for your heavenly benefits. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
