The World Is Full Of Wickedness

Judas Iscariot who was one of Jesus’ twelve disciples sought bribery, and he handed over his master to the enemies. The scripture reported,

“Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude” (Luke 22:3-6).

Lesson:

Wonders shall never end on earth! The world is full of wickedness, and many unimaginable things happen. In this world, servants would betray their masters; family would disintegrate, and absolute trust would be difficult to earn. Meanwhile, the earth that comprised all atrocities will not last forever! The end will come to this earth one day, and perfect earth from God would replace it. Meanwhile, God would destroy the wicked people who have lived in this wicked world; he will transfer the righteous people to the perfect earth that would be created. Hence, all people are to make themselves fit to escape the present wicked world and be able to possess the perfect one to come.

Prayer:

Dear God, I understand that the present world is full of evil and you will soon destroy it; you will make a new world that will host your saints. Therefore, I want to be qualified for the new world that will soon come. Please count me worthy; help me to be mindful of what will make me remain qualified. Please let my faith in your Son Jesus Christ qualifies me for your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
