God Is Able
The disciples of Jesus Christ honored him in the public. They sang his praise and gave him royal entry to Jerusalem. It is reported,
“Then they brought him colt (horse) to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road. Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying: “‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (Luke 19:35-38).
Lesson:
No one deserves better honor than Jesus Christ who left a joyful place in heaven to come down to earth for the sake of dying for lost sinners. All Christians are qualified to be Jesus’ cheerleaders, and we should sing his praises to the ends of the earth.
Prayer:
I love you Jesus Christ, and I am very proud of you! I thank you for all your goodness in my life. I specially thank you for your divine commitment to leave heaven and come to earth in order to die for the sinners. My praises would not be adequate until I have confessed you as my Lord! Therefore, I passionately confess you, Jesus Christ, as my personal Lord and Savior. I give you my whole heart, and I am determined to serve you for the rest of my life. I believe that I am now saved. Thank you Jesus Christ for your saving grace. Amen.
