Use Your Talent For God
Youths are encouraged to utilize their fresh knowledge and energy to serve God. An opportunity that any youth has to serve God today may not be available for usage tomorrow. The scripture stated,
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say, ‘I have no pleasure in them’” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
Lesson:
God desires youths to serve him with every opportunity they have. Some opportunities are time-sensitive: A youth who has the strength to serve God today may diminish in strength few years later. The fresh education, knowledge, and technological intellect that youth has today may become obsolete tomorrow. Therefore, youths must consider serving God now – when they have their best opportunity to do so! However, any youth who fails God at his (or her) flower age may miss God’s original purpose for his life. Worse still, a youngster who fails to realize God’s purpose for his life may regret in the future. Hence, it is a "Win-Win" situation for any youth to faithfully serve God. The effort will make God happy, and it will transform into a personal blessing and testimony.
Prayer:
Dear God, please let me adequately live my life for you. Help me to devote the early stage of my life to your faithful services. Enable me to utilize my time, energy, knowledge, finances, and other resources for your services. Let me wholly commit my life to you and your services, so that your kingdom can be populated. Please let my services be acceptable before you, and let me receive your overwhelming blessings throughout the days of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
